So what platform is it?

Need help settling a debate on another (non-camaro) board...There's a guy telling me that the 5th gen is a pipe dream because GM canceled the Zeta platform. He's killing my camaro buzz...I thought the concept was based on Sigma, but he says...

"The Sigma is a full size platform. It's used for all the Caddy's. The Zeta was the only platform planned for the Camaro. The sigma "lite" will be less expensive Pontiac and Buick only. The only V8 RWD non-Vette/Caddy is the GTO".

Help me settle this...I need to have 5th gen hope and don't like to lose arguments.

~thanks

Re: So what platform is it?

I think the R&T video said that it was on the Zeta platform like the GTO.

It'll be hard to lose this one unless he denies reality.

All you have to do is wait a day.

Re: So what platform is it?

Which Zeta? So it's built on the new VE platform by Holden? I thought it was going to be built not on VE but Sigma Lite, a stripped down version of Sigma.

I don't think anyone knows for sure until GM Offically announces.
