He is probably to busy making sure the lackies get the Camaro concept all shiny and new looking. BTW Scott, keep an eye out for those walls that tend to jump out in front of concepts, ok?

oh trust me, there IS a reason. And no, it's not because we're gonna show one at NAIAS.

Hint: The Bel Air was created at the last minute when another 'concept' was suddenly killed.......some had to be 'enlightened.'

Nope....we're all lackies. I can dust and wax and clean with the best of them!

Had a nightmare about being the person that bumped the Camaro concept into the wall last night and you beat me to death, then resurected me (you did this with Camaro why not me), and then you beat me to death again.

BTW I wonder what concept it could have been that was pulled?

I wonder if this has anything to do with Guy's "sportbike" analogy.

I vaguely recall walking in on part of that story back when we 1st met.

What kind of gathering is planned for the evening of the 8th? Might be a good opportunity for Camaro enthusiasts to spend some informal "quality" time with some of the GM guys. Any chances on Bob Lutz, Ed Welburn, or even Rick Wagoner spending a hour or so?

Nope, but Red's the one to explain this.

My sportsbike analogy has to do with events that happened well after the Belair concept made it's rounds. Waaay afterwards.

A guessing game! My guess: they disassembled the Bel Air concept and used the chassis as the basis for the new Camaro.

Re: RWD v8 Bel-Air Concept @ NAIAS 2006?

there will be many people from both GM Design and Engineering as well as Chevrolet.....however, Messers Welburn, Lutz, and Wagoner will be at Cobo unveiling another GM car on Sunday nite.

Rest assured that the people you meet will be interested in what everyone has to say.
