Saw the Camaro at the Washington Auto Show...awesome. I believe the tires were 275/30/21 up front and 275/25/22 goodyears. Pretty big wheel/tire package imo. No way it will be like the GTO where you can only put 245s on front... especially since the production model is supposed to be wider than the concept.

Actually I thought it was going to be slightly narrower and taller.

Wider than the concept?!?!?! Talk about requiring handi-cap parking to be able to fit in/out of the space and the car!?!

well maybe it will be narrower....
but i know its going to be a little taller.

Even if it is narrowed, it wont be by much...and come on everyone knows about the BFH mod anyway.

It's supposed to be slightly taller and slightly narrower than the concept. They're trying to keep the production Camaro as close as they can to the concept.

If it's wider than the concept, it ain't fittin' in my garage!! It will be a bit narrower, but at this point, I don't believe the exact dimension is public knowledge.
Just as a comparison to the Concept (not the production model), here are the widths of some other vehicles...

Concept = 79.6"
4th Gen = 74.1"
Caddy DTS = 74.5"
Lincoln Town Car = 78.5"
Lincoln Navigator = 80.2"
Yukon = 78.9"
H2 = 81.2"

BTW, it was great seeing you at Mosport on the weekend, Pete - and thanks for opening up the shotgun seat for me on that lapping session! Great driving, man!

Best regardSS,

Elie

Yeah, I don't see the production car being that wide!! At most, somewhere in between the width of the 4th-gen and 5th-concept?

Glad you enjoyed the ride and even happier we stayed on the track!!

Look at the bottom of the spy picture. Is that a 4th gen interior panel I see? Wonder how many 4th gens are running around Austrailia? Also I wonder if this picture was taken in america?

Ufortunatly Holden does not build things with wide wheelwells like GM NA, so buying tires sucks. I hope the GTO's bolt pattern does not make it to the Camaro..it will really limit the choice of rims.
