I did ask about this a LONG time ago, just to avoid looking like a fool for a simple reference. Obviously didn't help. Seriously, it was just done off the cuff one day. I could care less what anyone calls it.

No, yours is an import...so you could call it a 7G A4-B7.

Well that's good, because we've got a whole lot of "f-body" culture that I'd hate to see cut off. For the sake of the enthusiasts maybe the term "f-body" will still be able to be thrown arround.

If it's any comfort, it was refered to (quasi-officially) as the new F-body about year ago.

I dont see many F bodys at all!!! I saw my first in a long time today, 01-02 Black WS6 Trans Am totally stock, quite possibly one of the most sexiest cars for the money. it was so nice! pretty clean too dispite the last week of snow, female driver. we hung for a wile then she made a turn off.

I look at the 4th gens and even 3 years after production stoped I still think they were some of the sleekest sexiest cars on the planet for the money! In 98' the options were kinda bleek, my camaro still looks amazing 7 years later

Alot of the concepts have grown on me later like the 05 mustang I now like more then at first, but I have a hard time going Retro to an erra before aerodynamics.

Just remember you haven’t seen the concept yet, you saw a clay styling test mock up that is about a year old.

Hold your judgment till GM shows us the real concept at NAIAS,

I don’t know how many times I have to repeat this....

Re: Problems adapting to the F5?

damn, why is everyone tripping on it being called an f5? its an easy way to refer to the generations of our cars. works very well for the vette and its also used fairly often with other cars. the 240sx uses a similiar system (s13, s14) to reference 15 generations of cars. also the evo is numbered as well, with the new evo IX being introduced. the camaro has almost 40 years of history behind it, i think it deserves it.
