Out of curiosity...

how many of these functional concept Camaros actually exist? I know there's the silver one from NAIAS, but I notice that the red one on Road & Track looks complete as well. I assume that if it was the foam model, the windows would just be blacked out, no?

BTW, have there been any pictures out of the LA show or was the car not shown there like it had been rumored to be?

I think I read somewhere there was several different ones, each in a different color. I don't know how much truth there is to that though.

Re: Out of curiosity...

Actually the first actual photo I saw of the car, it was a Burgendy (yuck) color. So there's at least 3 of them.

Re: Out of curiosity...

There are only two.

The Red one and the Silver one

The Silver one runs while the red one is just a scale model. (not functional)

The red one is in LA & the Silver in Detroit right now

Thats its

Yes, there are pics from the LA show of the red car. Search around and you should find them.

There may be more versions of the car at GM, but the Silver (running) and Red (mock up) are the only 2 we're aware of .

Re: Out of curiosity...

I'm willing to bet about 5 with maybe 2 of those being functional.

Re: Out of curiosity...

Two...the Silver one which is a driveable car......and a 'fiberglass' full scale model...in Red.

The Fiberglass car looks like a real car.....but no powertrain or interior......

That's it!

---well....OK....the clay....in the pics you saw that were leaked....but it's probably destroyed now that the Fiberglass was created.

Re: Out of curiosity...

Were there not 2 clay cars S.S.? I saw a picture with two of them IIRC. The actual concept is the ONLY car you guys have that runs?! There's no other one that testing was or is being done on?
