Officially, GM is saying pricing hasnt been set yet.
I asked Al Oppenheiser and he confirmed Z/28 will be priced above ZL1. John Fitzpatrick also confrimed when Frezza asked him during his interview on this week's CamaroZ28.com podcast

I LOVE everything they've done with the new Z/28 .........and it's about time they brought this car out!!
I think the ONLY thing I'd opt for, to keep it street comfy, would be a basic stereo system (4 speakers) and some insulation under the carpeting ... which maybe there will be?? ... otherwise, interior temp gets HOT inside a car without insulation ... like, REALLY hot!!
Other than that?? Home run! Slam dunk! I definitely want one!!!
(...it may not be a Z06 Corvette, but it'll be DAMN close, and can carry haul my wife and kid along 
).

People need to stop thinking of the Z/28 as a stripped down ZL1. Its not. Think of it more like a SS/1LE taken to the next level. When you consider all the extras the Z/28 has over the 1LE, then you'll understand the price.

I think I'm starting to like the new front end more (I know, I'm as surprised as you are. 
). Well, the Z/28 front end.
Still think the SS front is not right.
And the new non-LED tail lights aren't bad either. Don't like the LED lights, though.
It would be a 2SS/non-RS/1LE for me.
And I STILL want to see the color coded grilles, damn it!

I'm still waiting for that perfect front 3/4 side wallpaper to show up somewhere. The front views in GMs official images don't show enough. Something like this but more "official" would be perfect.

front end of the z28 is growing on me much quicker than the back end still. even in the non rs package. its proabably alot to do with color too. not a huge fan of ir in the red like on the ss. and i dont know why the hell they keep adding chrome to this car. the chrome strip across the nose on the ss looks cheesy....especially concidering , i dont thin there is any chrome anywhere else on the car. its not even around the taillight bezel anymore.
