It is exactly the same as saying the new SS sedan will have a 5.9L engine instead of a 6.2L because Nascar Sprint Cup engines are limited to 360 CID.

if there was a single panel or part of the nascar that was related to the impala, you might have something. but since there nothing that goes hand in hand with the production car, there no credability....

Wasn't it confirmed over a month ago the LT1 would be 6.2L? That article is almost written like it contains rumors from over a year ago.

yes. the 6.2 LT1 is the base corvette motor.....FACT

That has to be some really old stuff. So GM is going to give a "Stingray" model less displacement and considerably less power than a base LT1 Corvette?
