I found what I was looking for at Ft. Lauderdale Maroone after a brief search on the internet. As soon as I arrived I noticed a 5000 mark up listed on the window sticker and I was like let the games begin. After a two hour negotiation they still wanted 1000 over MSRP, so I walked out. I refuse to pay above MSRP and I made it very clear to my salesman. Not even 10 mins go by and I recieved a call from the sales manager asking me if he lowers the car to MSRP + lowjack would I turn around and make the deal so I said "yes". At this point im pretty pissed off with all the games being played but I still wanted the car so he hangs up with me and calls me two mins later. By this time im half way home and he tells me we have a deal, he was able to drop the car down to MSRP (38205) + 495 (lowjack) + tax so turn around and lets write her up.

Due to the games that were played and the fact that I had to leave the dealer to make the deal I wanted them to sweat a bit so I told them I would not be returning to the dealer today. Manager insisted on me returning today since the deal was fresh and he needed to sell one more car today. I told him if he really wanted to sell me the car today he would have never let me leave the dealer. Manager then said, tomorrow is his day off and I replied by saying should have made the deal today while I was there huh? He was not a happy camper, he feeds me this B/S story that he has something planned with the wife tomorrow and continues to try to get me to turn around. I told him if he wasnt ready to sell me the car tomorrow I would take my business else where.

Long story short, I have a 1130 app to finialize my deal? Wish me luck with the STEALER oh I mean dealer...

I would just forget about the STEALER (dealer) and let him suck wind on that car. Keep up the internet search for cars in Florida and you will find one . Also a Dealer that will go below the MSRP(Never pay sticker for any new car.

NO DEAL.

The night before the stealer told me they where going to sell me the car for 38205 + lowjack and taxes. Of course when they bring me the paper work there was a 699 dealer fee added to the deal plus 300 some sort of detailing. I asked the manager what the hell is that dealer fee, he stated "this is a non negotiable fee that Maroone charges all customers". So I told him your kidding rigth.

I see what your doing, the 1000 dollars you wanted me to pay over MSRP was removed and renamed under a new title so it appears that you took off the 1000 add on but in reality you just renamed it under "dealer fees" and "detailing".

I walked out and I will refuse to purchase a vehicle for a maroone dealer ever again.

Good for you. I have seen the dealer fee routine as well up here in the Port St. Lucie area. BTW Suburban Chevrolet up here in Stuart told me two months ago that they will order one for me at MSRP. I am sure they still offer that as well, it would only be a hour and a half drive. I am not sure about the dealer fee though. It seems like every dealership I talk to nowadays has that dealer fee that is non negotiable. If you find one that doesn't I sure would be interested in knowing that. I also seem to remember that there is a Chevrolet dealer in Pompano Beach, you might have better luck with them.

We will order one for anyone on here under MSRP and we do not charge a dealer fee at all. Let me know if anyone is interested.

As a matter of fact I probably have what you are looking for in stock!
