yes I agree...
yes all three cars have the same stance WHY its the muscle car look..
long hood short rear deck lid..
Its got Muscle Car styling and thats what these cars need.
And Im glad its nothing like the 4th gen so everyone will know its not a Corvette Im driving!

Everybody is entitled to their opinion - none is better than any other - thus someone else may indeed decide that it does look a bit like the Mustang, and this would not be the last time.

sure it's not going to look the same when you post side by side pics and show a bunch of car guys that looks at pics all day long.
But show the concept pic to any random person on the street (especially a female), and I bet they will think it's a mustang.

The mustang lookes like it's crying. (the front end) teh line's are too boxy, too many 90* angles. I never liked it from the start.
The new Maro's fromt end looks mean. Kind of pissed off. I picture that body shake when I gas it, hearing that throaty rumble, ready to eat you alive...

I don't think it looks like a Mustang but if you take a step back and don't look at the details and concentate on only the basic shape and proportions, there are similarities there. They are both based off cars that are from the same era and therefore have a design that posseses styling elements and proportions from those days. I can understand people who aren't "car" people saying that it looks like a Mustang. I know better but it is a bit disturbing if a lot of people mistake this car for a Mustang................actually, I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

Mustang looks like it is sad. Like if the Camaro is about to pop its cherry. They don't look alike. Mustang looks retro. Camaro looks like it evolved. Challenger looks retro. Camaro looks mean.

The Camaro concept looks less like a first generation Camaro than a 2005 Mustang looks like a first generation Mustang, IMO. I would imagine that most people would agree with this.
I agree with IZ28 that the arguement is more that it is RETRO-ish in design.
Also, Neil and Jawz present a valid point that the less educated car people are saying it looks like a Mustang. 1 of every 2 people I show this concept to are saying that.
