Something like the 69 spoiler

SLP spoilers come close but for some reason they seem to bow backwards instead of being flat across like it should be. I cant tell if this is just the style or a necessity to conform to the trunk...

From that angle at least, the spoiler on that red car looks 1000x better. The one on Klaus looks like a caricature of a real spoiler, almost like it was put on as a gag. Or maybe a tacked on piece from J.C. Whitney or something. The fact that it tapers down and ends at the edge of the trunk makes a huge difference. The Klaus spoiler looks like it is way too wide (and tall) for the car.

^ I like where you head is at... but then again I would have to deal with the back up sensors...

No, but it may not be legal in some locations.

Re: Introducing "Klaus".......

why? the vette has reverse lights on the very bottom of the car. why couldnt i put them in the strip between the paint and the diffuser? its better than using night shade over them right?

Re: Introducing "Klaus".......

I am sure you could find some completely legal backup lamps in the Hella catalog or someplace similar. The problem would be that you would have a big gap in between the tail lamps if you try to put the US ones in there. If you look at the new fascia, the lamps are connected in one, but in the domestic version there is a strip of fascia in between.

Re: Introducing "Klaus".......

We just released complete visual details and differences with Klaus here:

https://www.camaroz28.com/2011-expor...s-differences/

Some things to note...
  • I really, really hope I can get my hands on some of the rear wheel well flares (see image below)
  • I picked the wrong day to wear a bright orange shirt, it showed up in anything remotely reflective.
  • The taillights indeed look better in person. I cannot explain why. They grow on you quickly once you see them.

Some quick pics, click on any to go right to the entire gallery.

Re: Introducing "Klaus"....... (Now with MORE pictures and short VIDEO!)

Thanks guys!

The tailights are already growing on me. Wonder how hard it would be to order them and the rear fascia direct from GM...

EDIT: 'fascia swaps' ..lol

Thanks for the additional pics Jason. I see that Klaus also has snow tires on him right now.

I kind of like the tail lights too. I suppose I would like them even more if the LED's were hidden so that when not illuminated they show a solid color.
