I was hyped up about the new camaro and all the concepts on paper till i saw gm's pic that is not what i want


most likely i will make a brave move into uncharted terroritory and buy from a brand i have never owned because of how "retro" it looks and this is just a mean car

I like how that charger looks (is that carbon fiber stripes on the hood?) but regardless the Camaro will look sweet. Hey, you don't have to like EVERY generation.

I think your jumpin the gun man...specially cause the consensus(right word?) seems to be that those pics are extremely old (ie early concept pics). And seriously...where are you seeing foreign in the car (other than those weird side mirrors? And if you dont like the concept pics...I have trouble believing you like the Challenger pics...they have a good amount in common...

Do yourself a favor and wait 2 weeks till you see the real deal and even then, see it in person because Ive seen plenty of cars that look great in pics and horrendous in person and vice versa. No need to shoot yourself in the head yet.

Even so the Challenger does look good in pictures but to me it looks ho hum next to the mean front end of that leaked pic

Sounds like someone is not part of the faithful. We have been here for quite a while and have had a good idea on what the actual car will look like for at least a 6 months. What you saw was an illegally leaked picture. There is a REASON that GM didn't want those photos to get out, they were OLD and not up to date with the current car. Now if you have some constructive criticism about the car, IE what you didn't like about it with some detail, you can post that in the what I think about the concept thread that is on this page. GM will watch this thread and if there is a valid point they will take heed of what is said and may change the car, what we see in January isn't the 100% final version either. So make your point and clearly say what is wrong. The car looks foriegn doesn't tell me or the designers at GM ANYTHING talk in detail.

BTW stick around and read it will be an intersting 2006.
