For the Hotwheels fans, another Camaro concept color.
I was quickly browsing through Target today and low and behold, there was this single car sitting on the peg hook. They are now making them in black, along with the red and silver. Now the hunt is on to find more.

I am kinda bummed...I used to like Hotwheels more than any other 1/64 scale die-cast car for quality, detail, and accuracy. Then in 2002 or so, they started to get a bit more juvenille and "cartoony" IMO, and the cars just didn't look like the same to me any more.
When I saw the Hot Wheels version of the Camaro concept, I was disappointed because something didn't look right about it. The dimensions just weren't correct and there wasn't much detail to it. That's one of the reasons I went with GreenLight for the CamaroZ28.Com custom die-cast car. The quality and detail is awesome.
Then again, I suppose I shouldn't gripe...it is a 99 cent car still in a lot of places.

I mainly collect the 1/18 scale diecasts anyway, which cost around 25 bucks and beyond, so I can't complain if I can get a decent looking car for under a buck. Plus, the hunt is what makes it fun, the Camaro concepts just don't seem to be in that high of quantity and thus harder to find as compared to some of the other releases right now.

Yeah, I feel the same way. If I were to round up everything concept related, I would have a pretty big pile full of stuff. Maybe I will do that, I will do a photoshoot of everything, after my Greenlight cars arrive in the mail of course.

I stopped buying them because people just have been giving them to me lol.

Very nice, lucky you. Although I will have a couple of signed cars on the way from him too. Did you also know Jada is making a two car set that has both the 1st gen and 5th gen in it displayed in a nice little case. I got one a few months ago and it is a nice set, it might be something for you to keep your eyes open for.

Yea, im going to hopefully get more stuff signed by him as time progresses. so far he's signed my 92 and my 01 z as well plus a couple of posters to boot. Just goes to show you how great a guy scott really is. He bends over backwards for anyone.. it was great hanging with him at the gathering, although, he was out of apple juice a lot
