one with a CAI, catback, some different wheels and of course some CZ28 stickers is what most likely it will be.

I understand what you are saying about the car having to be realistic so I came up with a list of things that I would expect to see on a special edition limited production Camaro. Basicly the car that I would start with would be what ever car Gm builds as the direct competion for the GT-500. What ever that special edition car would be that is what I would want whether it be Z-28, or COPO or what ever they call it. After that fact, I would look to see a package like this:

Special Vinyl Graphics on the standard colors offered on the Camaro.(Hockey stick stripes, Yenko style stripes, or LeMans style stripes.

Special Interior trimmings like, some brushed aluminum accents, Hurst shift ball, suede inserts in the seats or some other special seating/ leather accents to set it apart from the regular upper model camaro.

I would also look for headers and X pipe along with an exhaust system like that of which is on the Z06 with the little cutouts as well as a CAI.

I think it would also be cool to see some special edition valve covers
and a special edition badge of some sort.

I know that doing special wheels for this car alone wouldn't be feasable but I think it would be cool to have what ever the premium wheels are done in a gun metal color much like the current wheels on the 07 Z06's.

Where a bunch of people group together to make a purchase at a discount price.

Hahaha...yeah, I suppose that would be a basic version, but give us some credit, it will be a bit more special and unique than that. Otherwise, what is the sense of doing it?

I I don't think that it will say too much about the site, really. This is for the enthusiasts who are part of the site, and not just the site itself.

even if we could get a group purchase discount coupon or something...that'd be cool.

Re: CZ28.com 2009 Camaro group purchase?

"Realistically" speaking, a Group Purchase RATE, on the "top dog" Camaro (Z28/SS/ZL1?) and a large, group gathering, factory pick-up .

That's very feasible IMO ... offering a fair discount to a large group of loyal enthusiasts, and the marketing they could get out of having this huge group gather at the plant to pick up their cars!!

Count me in!!

GM makes cars but they do not sell them, dealers do. I don't believe they have provisions for buyers to take delivery at the actual factory.

I would be very happy with something like along with a few small touches to make it different like:

A small commerative plaque in the engine bay.
unique stripe kit
some interior upgrades like a shifter/ ball and dash Plaque maybe some dash accents
Intake, headers, and valve covers and coil relocators like the one from Katech.

I know that it wouldn't be Oshawa, But we could get Matt Berger of Berger Chevy to help us do it maybe, or get something set up with Year One through GMMG?

I don't know but I am not above making calls and helping out with this process. I came about this close " ",last night to buying an 06 GTO I would much rather wait and make my first real car purchase not only a new Camaro, but a special edition one at that.

Jason let me know if there is anything I can do from my end, I will help in any way I can.

No, they don't do it for Corvettes. There is a dealership right next to the Corvette Museum, which is across the street from the Corvette factory. The dealership delivers the cars to the new owners at the museum, but NOT the factory. GM has nothing to do with it, it is all the dealer and the museum.
