Challenger hate thread.
Ok, Camaro = friggin bad ***. It does have the retro flavor, but it atleast would be recognizable as a NEW car. It does look an awful lot like the '69, but I like it alot. Now, the challenger concept, although a bad *** car in it's hey day is ridiculous I think. I like where Dodge is going with this, but that concept looks 99.9% exactly like the '70 Challenger. If you put the two next to each other it would take a hard look to distinguish the two. Retro = cool, exact copy of a classic '70 car = dumb. I actually think that Challenger concept looks like a DUBS model of a '70 Challenger.

I like the Challenger. I like the Camaro better, but the Challenger will appeal to people as well, just like the Mustang will/does appeal to others. My younger brother (well, one of them) doesn't like the hard lines on the Camaro and likes the Challenger and Mustang better, where as I like the Camaro better. Different strokes for different folks.
I like the DUB City toys too .

"Hating" the Challenger is not in the best interest of the Camaro enthusiast. I hope they build it and do a good job.
Why? Because that will give GM even more incentive to build the Camaro even better, and maybe even sooner. It would be awesome to have the Camaro, Mustang and Challenger on the streets.

I think the Challenger is really friggin dumb. Ford could get away with producing something that looked a lot like the GT40 because it was not something that many people got their hands on. But the Challenger is just an inflated copy of the original on the derivative of the LX.

Who can hate the Challenger?
Jason nailed it, but taking it even further... It's a bad *** car! Damn good looks, and it's another RWD V8 coupe for people like us.
Don't get me wrong, when it comes to performance my loyalties lie with GM and Chevrolet, so the Camaro is my first choice. But if there were no Camaro, you'd be seeing me drive around in a Challenger.
Damn these companies for doing this all at once Where was this Challenger back in 03?
