I tried a side by side but it wouldnt keep the spaces and got jumbled together. You can see its shorter than the mustang but with a longer wheel base. Its only 10 inches longer than the Vette. and its wider than all of them.

From its width and size it will be at the top of the handleing game maybe better than the vette on the track we will see and Lutz said this car will run with any sports car in the world, did not say beat but run with so you can bet it will beat most of them

Just as a quick comparison, the 4th Gen car rides on a 9.4" shorter wheelbase and is 7.3" longer. It's also 1.3" taller than the new car, but the 79.6" width on the new car is a bit of an eyebrow raiser as it is a full 5.5" wider than my '98. That basically cuts the amount of room I have to slide it into my garage by 50%!! Gonna have to be real careful putting it in and taking it out!
A Caddy DTS is 74.5 " wide
A Lincoln Town Car is 78.5" wide
A Lincoln Navigator is 80.2" wide
A Yukon is 78.9" wide
An H2 is only 1.6" wider than the concept!

I don't think the production version will be that wide. I would bet (pure speculation on my part) it is at least 3" narrower, maybe more. Concept cars are always overdramatized.

Agreed. W/ as wide as the concept is, small backroads would be a PITA w/ other cars coming...

Last night my brother called me, and I referred him to the pics of the car in red, and the photoshopped pics of the car in other colors (in another thread in this forum).

He about wet himself, which was basically the same reaction I had.

If GM trim the width, will the car lose its appeal? I know the weight would come down.

From the pics, it just seems to have good stance and look proportionately correct. Those who saw the car say it looks better in the metal.

Gee I hope the concept isn't just a tease.
