That is not entirely true. When the Solstice first came on the market GM was very specific about asking dealers not to sell it above MSRP. Of course they can't dictate to the dealerships but they do hold a lot of influence over them. I definitely wouldn't say it is completely out of the manufacturer's hands.

And Brangeta, "King Dork Edition" or not, I would proudly buy one. I find it laughable that you would even make a post like that. What is this, high school?

What about a DCX (maybe Dodge, maybe not) Super Bee vs. Chevy Bumble Bee?

I was going to start quoting everyones replies to put in my $.02 but then realized that Im going to bed in about 6 hours. lol

They will probably come out with the paint/wheel package, maaaaaaaaaaaybe optional Autobot decals. I doubt that GM would do neons on the car.

Buuuuuuuuuut if I could, I would buy the Bumblebee package. Im a HUGE transformers fan. (read: UBER GEEK) Ive read the prequel book and 1-3 of the 4 comics that have been released as another prequel. I cant wait till the movie comes out. Im even considering putting Decepticon decals on my 94Z.

Don't care about the movie or the "package", but I really like that color.

Not entirely true about the neons. If you can get your hands on a copy of the regulations on these in NJ; read it and you'll see it's a little misunderstood. Neons are legal, but they must be BELOW the headlights as lights located above are generally accepted as Emergency vehicles or warning lights. Problem is, reguardless of where they're located, if you have them on, you're getting pulled over. However they could probably get you for distracting other drivers (similar to driving with interior light on) although I'm not sure.

Up here in Canada, no civilian automobile may have more than 6 lights on the front of a car at any one time. We are also not allowed to use RED and BLUE on the front. Those are strictly for Emergency vehicles.
