I had a Brembo big brake kit (adapted Porsche 996TT brakes) on my 99 Camaro for a while. They were fantastic. I'm really looking forward to how good the full set of Brembos designed for the car are going to be.

sounds like an ad to me... Brembo does make nice brakes, but they are in the expensive side.

That's usually what a press release is.

Very nice! I like the coating that the rotors have on them to prevent rusting. I hate when the rotors have that rusted look after a while around the edges and center. Can't wait to test these brakes out! I also still find it interesting that the rear rotors are larger than the fronts.

System seems to be the same one found on the last gen CTS-V. 14's up front, 14.4's in the rear, with 4 pistons all the way around, made by Brembo as well.
That also means that 18's will fit over them, or should anyway, so we should have some choices for snow tires. w00ts!

Don't count on it.

I just hope they are as good as their name suggests. Sometimes things get lost in translation when they go OEM and especially on cheaper vehicles. On the other hand it wouldn't take much to better the brakes we had on the 4th Gens.

Why not? They fit over the CTS-V's brakes?

I've been led to believe there's a reason why the spare tire is not an available option on the SS and why there's a Camaro SS specific winter tire, the Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow.

I'm not claiming I "know" that 18's won't fit, I'm simply suggesting the evidence says otherwise.

Al, I'd guess the steel wheels offer less room than most aluminum wheels.
