I am having a lot of trouble too figuring out how anybody took the article so seriously. I think most people (non-enthusiast) that read any review of the concept will view the critique the same as a review of an actual production car from Motor Trend or Car and Driver. I thought the author was trying to make a point to take a step back and realize it is still a concept and has speed and rev limiters set to prevent any real driving, hence any real review.

Yes, both...the LS2 has been replaced and will not be around when the Camaro hits the streets. It is almost a given that the Camaro will get the LS3.

Don't get me wrong -- I think it's a reasonable assumption. But to go around stating it as fact just isn't right! The concept has the LS2, and until we get new information from GM, I don't think we should assume something else. LS2 has been replaced in the C6, but not in anything else so far (although the TBSS is the only other LS2-powered vehicle I can think of that hasn't been discontinued). I haven't heard anything about an LS3-powered Trailblazer SS. Have you?
