Wait a second...
You forgot about those deadly Beretta Z26's and the vicious Lumina Z34...
The only way you could get either of those two turds to accelerate involved the liberal use of explosives, the Grand Canyon, and a side order of gravity.

Don't forget all those hot Z24 Cavaliers, ZR-2 S10s, Z-71 full sizes and MC Z34s either. Thankfully, the modern equivalent of those (aside from the trucks) is now SS, leaving the "Z" where it belongs

Re: Autoblog throwing down some figures
The Z/28 should not be top....SS should be below the Z/28....RS under the SS. And of course base is lowest. So whats the top then guys?!?! ZL-1!!!! That would be sweet with the LS9 coming out soon or the LS7 either way it'd be much cooler with that name.

Z28 belongs up top. Granted the Z thing was drug into the ground in the mid 90's, I think it's time for a comeback for the Z to be what it should be....#1

Holy buckets...
One guy names his performance cars with cute little girly post-baby-boomer cuddle names and the other guy owns a British motorcycle.
Maybe by 2009, through pooling your funds, you two could pitch in and buy one of those battery-powered wheelchair things they give the whales that beach themselves at Wal-Mart in a weekly migratory quest for starchy snacks and size 62 underware manufactured by slave labor at rock bottom prices in some third-world hell-hole, name it "Summer Raine" and slap on some Z0.0 stickers and a set of hatch louvers.
The noob prosecution rests.
And YOU, Jason, YOU are ASPIRING TO a 5.3 powered RS?!?!? Wha???? Huh???
You're posting SS vs. Z28 smack and you're not even going to BUY ONE OF THE TWO. I hereby vote that future RS buyers DON'T GET A VOTE until they step up the aspirations a bit.

HAHA! :haha:
btw, Z28 should be on top much like Z06 is on top in the Vette... nuff said well, that and that whole 30+ years of tradition!
When I hear SS I feel like yeah, Kewl, nice ride pretty fast and very much wanted
Now, When I hear Z28 I feel like YEAH!, BAD ***!, MEAN, FAST, TAKE NO PRISONERS!
Thats how I see it...
Also, how about we start this debate Z28 or Z/28 or maybe even Z-28???

Then, to settle the debate, I'll hold your head underwater in the ladies room for 15.
I've got $5 that says you can do it because I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Charlie,
the designations are alot like this website. Camaro Z/28 may catch your attention, but Camaro SS (http://web.camaross.com/) is where all the cool action is!
