About 8 months ago, I saw a particular supplier's manifest roadmap for the next few years. It specifically mentioned parts designated for 2007 Camaro. Again, this was several months ago, long before any of the leaked pics.

If memory serves me correctly, I saw it on GMI. Could have been C&G.

Any word on this? Any info on supplier contracts and such that are related to a new Chevy RWD coupe?

It would seem that if GM is going to fastlane the Camaro, then we'd be seeing the supply chain already ramping up.

Chances are those suppliers would rather not leak that sort of information. I remember one of my uncles telling me once about a company he worked for where someone leaked a file that contained confidential information like the cleveland_e.pdf file, it really caused a lot of backlash and degraded the integrity of the entire company in the eyes of the automakers. I think he might've also said that it severely jeopardized their contract with certain automakers, as they didn't want to do business with a company that they couldn't trust. I doubt anyone would want to harm their own company by leaking that sort of stuff.

No scoops, but I'm sure bids will go out soon if they already haven't.

We'll be in the 2007 model year in a few days, and Camaro's due in 2009 MY.

I would assume that since Camaro would be using a chassis shared by others, that the parts could be under another name or build number, and not say "Camaro" on it.
