Was any input from the Camaro focus group incorporated into the Camaro?

I asked this about a year ago and the consensus was it was too early to know.

Apparently they're still afraid to talk.

Maybe they are afraid if they talk that the black Suburbans will show up in the middle of the night and haul them away to Parts Unknown never to be seen again.

I don't know if it was the disciples, but there was some general outcry about how ridiculous the torque gauge was, so it was replaced with trans temp.

I think that there was outcry about the "torque gauge" before the focus group.

It is weird that no one is talking. The only reason I can think of is that some of the stuff they discussed is planned for 2011 and GM wants to release that info before it's discussed.

That said, I don't see a problem with people acknowledging that this is the case if true...

Sorry, I was just having fun in my previous post.

To be truthful, there was so much talked about that day and since it was going on a couple of years ago, it is a bit had to remember. It is hard to say if what we were asked about was already in place and they wanted validation from us if it was the right direction. We really didn't get info on the status or true intent of the direction we were being asked about. There was no significant "we are going to do this...". It was more, "what do you think of this?" and then listened to our answers. The feedback typically went one way, from us to them. Not many secrets came our way.

I'd like to get into more detail but we are still under a confidentiality agreement and I do not know if they plan to introduce more results of our feedback in the future.

To answer the question...

Was any input from the Camaro focus group incorporated into the Camaro?
Yes.

Was any input not used? Yes, but portions may be in the future. We don't know.

I thought I remembered reading a thread that said when they took you guys out to Milford, the cars didn't have a dead pedal, and that you guys said something about it. I think the Camaros have dead pedals now right?
