What is the 'grille' option on the Chevy website?
Hi everyone,
I'm kicking around getting a Camaro next year (2012). I'm on the Chevy website building a Camaro I'm interested in. Basically, trying to get an idea how much one will cost with the options I want/like. I'm liking Inferno Orange Metallic, the side hockey stripes, and the Satin Nickel fuel door a lot, among other things.
I'm noticing on the dealer installed options there is a mention of a 'Grille'. What exactly is it? I'm guessing it goes on the front and replaces the stock Grille. However, when I select this option I don't see a picture of it by itself nor does the image of the car update whenever I enable or disable that item.
Does anyone have any pics of a camaro with this dealer installed option in place? It would be nice if two pics could be posted here: one with the stock grille and the other with the dealer installed grille.
Thanks!
P.S.: Does anyone have any idea how accurate the pricing is on that website? What are the chances I can ask for a quote and try to come a grand or so under the listed price on that website? Or are they Camaros selling so good I can just forget that?

I am assuming they are talking about the Heritage Grille.
The pricing on the Chevrolet Camaro web site is accurate to what should be on the sticker, but you will have to see you local dealership to get the exact numbers.

Thank you Jason!! That's a big help. Personally I think I like the stock grille better, but to each their own. This will help me pick out my options when it comes time to purchase. Cue power of positive thinking...

I am on the opposite side of the fence. I like the "Heritage" grill.
But I do think it is quite a huge misstep for their site not to work properly.
