New Custom Paint...2010 SS
Just finished the new paint and wanted to show it off a little bit..
The car was painted in my little shop in my back yard by a good friend of mine Landon March. Took about 2 1/2 weeks to complete.. The red is the factory paint, everything else was done with PPG & House of Kolors. Then the entire car was cleared, wet sanded, & polished out...all the emblems have been debadged and painted on..

My first impression was "no thanks, flag" but looking at it more it is really impressive! The detail in the paint is incredible; my favorite part of the scheme is the Chevy emblem on the hood appearing behind the torn chains. Nice work!

it is actually pretty neat to watch peoples reaction in person.. cause there are alot of details that you dont see during the first impression such as the painted on emblems & vent fills.. Also on the trunk, where the flag tears appart the black stripes under it have the ghost checkered flag.
The front and rear " black out" are not actually black. It is carbon Metalic which is a dark dark gray with flakes..All the white has white ice pearl in it, the blues * silver on the hood have flakes in it.. so in the sun it really "pops"... pics really can't capture it all.

when i had my paintjob on my 99 TA, my painter wanted to put his name on the back of it. i laughed at him and avoided him having my car alone, again.

very nice, I personally don't like red...but it is a nice color scheme.
the ad on the back would never happen though if I get custom paint.. I didnt even let the dealer put on their sticker when mine was delivered from the factory.
