[Exterior] 2012 fog lights won't come on?

2012 fog lights won't come on?
hey guys help!......
My ex mother in law got an anniversary SS with the Halo HID lights.
Well, as you know the fogs are yellow, and look crappy.
I tried to replace bulbs, and they didn't light up, now the fogs won't come on at all?
I checked the fuse, it's good! ..... now what?
put the stock bulbs back in and everything is ok, jus no fog lights at all now.
what can I check?
...really wanted her to have nice looking "close" match fogs.

We replaced the DRL's on my wifes 2011 2lt R/S with blue white LED Bulbs along with a wiring harness that keeps the halos on all the time.So during the day she has halos and DRL's and at night Halos, DRLS and headlights.When we first did the install one of the LED's was burnt out but is was replaced at no cost they are garunteed for life.Otherwise no problems. What bugged me when we fist got the car was not only the color of the DRLS but with the R/S you really don't have foglights.

they were nice fancy bulbs, but not LEDs..... but when I put the stockers back
in, no fog lights at all.
don't know where to begin troubleshooting ?????

I ran into this when I put LED bulbs in mine. I couldn't get them to light up. Then I realized that they really aren't "fog lights" but DRLs, and certain conditions must be met for them to light up. From the manual...which I had to reference...
I don't know if this helps, but I took care of it by wiring them up to stay on all the time. 
...for vehicles with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, the dedicated DRL lights will come on when the following conditions are met:
When the DRL are on, the headlamps, taillamps, sidemarker, instrument panel and other lamps will not be on.
The headlamps automatically change from DRL to the regular headlamps depending on the darkness of the surroundings.
The other lamps that come on with the headlamps will also come on.
When it is bright enough outside, the headlamps will go off and the DRL will come on.
To turn the DRL lamps off or on again, turn the exterior lamps control to the off position and then release. For vehicles first sold in Canada, the DRL lamps cannot be turned off.
The regular headlamp system should be turned on when needed.
- The ignition is in the ON/RUN position.
- The exterior lamps control is in AUTO, or has been briefly turned to OFF to turn the automatic light control on again.
- The engine is running.
When the DRL are on, the headlamps, taillamps, sidemarker, instrument panel and other lamps will not be on.
The headlamps automatically change from DRL to the regular headlamps depending on the darkness of the surroundings.
The other lamps that come on with the headlamps will also come on.

....yup, I am a dumb azz.... LOL
got talking to my ex mom-in-law again last night, and she confirmed that they do work.
I guess when I tried to install my fancy bulbs..... I had both front and the 1 center back
garage door open, and lights on in garage... THUS, they don't come on????
Maybe I will try the fancy bulbs again ?
If I install them, then close up the garage so it's dark... THEY SHOULD COME ON>? right?

Yes, that caught me as well.
All you need to make them come on all the time is some automotive gauge wire and some wiretaps.
