Small Wheels

OK, so I am the oddity - I don't like the huge wheels, and I don't like the performance hit I'll take for their weight and size. I do like the .. I think they're called "Heritage Steel" that can come on the base model.

What's the smallest size wheel that will physically work on the SS? I'm worried about brake clearance, mostly.

No, nothing wrong with wheels smaller than 20's, but the link shows the red Pedders camaro w/19" x 10.5" wheels w/305/30/19s all around, and further down the page tells why they went with a shorter wheel/tire combo..

That thread died with someone saying "maybe 19s" which is why I reposted it, 2 mos later. Thanks for the smarm. I was hoping for 18s, and hoping someone would actually post their experience running them and some pictures instead of hopes and dreams.

A few drag racers have fit a 17" ccw classics with the brembos . Ive seen quite a few ZO6 vettes with the stock 6 piston 14" brakes run 17" ccw classics as well.
