The definitive bushing solution for your Camaro control arms!
Hey everyone,
We wanted to let everyone know that the Pfadt Race Engineering total solution to Camaro control arm bushing upgrades now available. This street suspension upgrade kit addresses all of your control arm bushings, for a street application. There are couple of advantages of using our bushings over ones that are currently on the market. Some notes below:
- Almost all the bushings in our kit are graphite impregnated polyurethane, which has deeper groves in it to sustain lubrication for grease.
-We use lightweight 6061, hard anodized aluminum inserts that are teflon coated for the ultimate in quiet, reliable operation. We are the only manufacture doing this to the best of our knowledge.
-Our suspension bushing upgrade kit is lighter and stronger than the OE parts. Some bushings are 60% lighter, some are only 30% lighter. But they are ALL lighter and stronger.
-We do NOT use a polyurethane bushing replacement or insert, as an upgrade to the OEM Front Trailing Arm. This would not suffice for our design intent. Instead, we specified a design that called for articulation in multiple planes for suspension bump/droop, and steering articulation, all-the-while being as stiff as possible under braking. Polyurethane's material characteristics do not lend itself very well to the requirements of that intricate joint. What resulted is what we refer to as the Pfadt Street Spherical. It is a spherical that utilizes a plastic race bearing for vibration absorption in a street application. This piece is 30% lighter than stock, while the strength increase being extraordinary.
-All of our bushings are easy to install, due to the hat-style of their design
I want to let everyone know that this is a STREET BUSHING KIT. By no means is this anything close to a "race-only" upgrade. We make race spherical upgrades for track use only, and this is NOT one of those kits. What this is, is a suspension kit that will maximize your steering response, and reduce deflection in your suspension arms that result in transient handling characteristics that are sometimes unstable, and chaotic at best! This is a suspension kit for your Camaro that gives the best performance while transmitting much less noise, vibration and harshness than any other standard poly kit.
