Supercharger

I'm told you need to wait until around 20K to install a supercharger on the 6.2 liter v8 engine six speed. The car today has 4000 miles with cold air / long headers and mufflers plus tune.... Yes or No? Thanks

Who is saying this? I don't know if that is true. I sure hope not...I put mine on at around 1,500 miles.

I tend to disagree. If that were the case, many companies who are offering 2010-2011 Camaro packages couldn't warranty them.

I love it, and yes...it does.

I still have all of the stock parts (except for the factory wheels and tires) but I have no plans to put it back to stock if/when I sell it.

I am not planning on selling the blower without it being attached to the car. The car was tuned for it, and the cam is perfect for it.

You can still get in on the deal from HotPart that I got in on, $750 off. I believe that the special is still running.

While a supercharged "Z28" may come out in 2012, that is not 100% solid despite what a lot of people may think.

Besides, 2012 is a long way away and it might be tough to hold out that long. If we waited for something better to come along on everything, we wouldn't have anything.

yes, but it will be labeled a 2012. so if it is like the coupe and vert it will be out around mid year in 2011. and if you live in a state with snow, theres no sense in buying a camaro now. youll only getto enjoy it for 2-3 months before putting it away. if it were me now, i would wait out till the z28 came. if something happens with it, and it doesnt come out, you can always buy a SS.
