Nitto tires

Has anyone out on Nitto tires yet? I am thinking of NT05's for street and track. The P0's are holding up ok but they slide around on the track.

Not a bad choice. I have them and they are pretty good. One thing is for sure, they are not for cold or wet pavement. Once they get a hundred miles or so on them and the pavement is warm, they are very very good.

Yes, the NT05 and I am very happy with them. They just are definitely not an all-season tire. Look at the tread, it is nearly a race tire.

Personally I would go with the Invo over the NT05 if your car is a daily driver. Like Jason said, the NT05 is going to suck if it's wet or cold out. The INVO is a much better all around tire but still very good when it's dry.

The NT05's should be better on the track though.

Jason, any idea if Nitto will be making any new size tires this year? i heard that some tire companies are coming out with bigger sizes since the 22" wheel has kinda taken off lately. im looking for a 305/30/22 for the rear and a 265/30/22 front. pirelli is the only company that makes a good car, performance tire in that size.( p zero nero)

I used their 275/40/17 drag radials for a while. They hooked pretty good, I would have kept using Nittos if they made a 315/35/17, but at the time they didn't so I ended up with BFG drags

Re: Nitto tires

The Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance tire is a very good tire and priced nicely too. I have run them for a couple of years and have been pleased with the performance of the tires. Good all weather traction and exceptional wear too.
