Louder exhaust but quiet on the inside?

Hey guys! My dad just bought a 2010 Camaro SS. He isnt too computer savvy, however he would like to know if there is an exhaust system out there that will make the car louder without increasing the interior resonance? I know its probably hard but thats his main concern.

Any ideas?

borla and corsa are both good for that. corsa is a bit more pricey than borla. i have borla and i love it. they have 2 types to choose from. 1 touring style, and 1 that is a bt louder called the s-type. i went with the s type.

That's a tough combination to find, actually.

I really like the SLP Loudmouth that I put on my car the other day. It has a really good sound and is decently quiet on the inside. You can actually hear the car running inside now

TRY NOWEEDS.NET. I have that for my car and I have the luxury of turning off the exhaust when I want. This is the loudest exhaust I have heard and it sounds amazing.

loud exhaust

my friend had a SLP system installed on his 2010 and had it removed after only 2-1/2 months because of the interior noise.

slp loudmouth is over the top loud. especially with LT headers. i had it on my 99 trans am and it was waaaaayyyyy too loud and raspy. not even a good deep loud, just high pitch loud. especially at full throttle.

The Loudmouth system will definately be loud. Comparing the tone to a 4th gen will not be compareable. The 5th gen is a true dual exhaust system. The y-pipe caused a lot of the rasp that is often encountered in 4th gen systems and is not of concern here. A loudmouth catback on 5th gen should sound similar to a true dual 4th gen that retained the catalytic converters. They are extremely few and far between.

I have a 2010 2ss/rs with the 6speed manual and I just installed the SLP loudmouth II axle back system. It gives the car a nice sound but it is still pretty quite in the car. If you search on you tube you can find videos of different exhaust systems which might help make your decision. The automatic and manual do sound different becasue the automatic has a huge resonator. Hope this helps

Our retro chambered system is pretty quiet in the cabin, but sounds awesome on the outside!
