Borla Exhaust Install in Knoxville TN

I'm looking for a shop in Knoxville to install a Borla catback exhaust. So far, I'm finding shops with little to no experience with the 2010 Camaro.

Any ideas?

There is not much as far as difficulty doing it. Any shop that has done headers can do it. You basically remove the dipstick and related accessories, unhook and remove the factory manifolds. The Borla headers slide right in. Check this thread:

Looks like installing the catback is straightforward. I have found a shop to do the work - Performance Products in Knoxville. These guys are also equipped to tackle future mods.

Thanks for the feedback!

you dont have to be too mechanically inclined to do it. its a job you can do yourself and save your money.

Decided to install Corsa catback on my 2SS L99 Camaro. For what it's worth - here's a brief video. I don't think video or sound clips do performance exhaust justice.

While I really like Borla, Corsa was a better choice for me - lower interior noise with a great rumble outside!

Sound doesn't matter

Here in the UK i think its more about the performance of the car more than the sound of it. The exhaust doesnt always reviel the true power of a car.

sound does matter.if it didnt matter they might as well have made the car electric and dead silent. it took the camaro design team a long time just to come up with the right exhaust note. so yes sound definatelly matters for this car.

At least here in the US! We seem to lean to more show and less go more than other countries. Sometimes.

You got that right.

We had some input on it, yes, but that only scratched the surface of the time they put into it.

I don’t intend to start an international incident but I’m not sure if that is true.

One of my favorite TV shows is Top Gear and it sure seems they like the sound of the engine and exhaust - in addition to performance.

It is true that the Americans like their muscle cars to have a good sound. Fortunately for Camaro owners, the addition of Borla, Corsa, and other catback systems also translates to a decent horsepower gain and overall improved engine performance through increased air flow.
