I was standing right next to Bob Lutz at one point when he was giving interviews. It was kinda neat.

I printed out some pictures to show off at school, I will do anything possible to own a Brand New Red Z28 or SS, if they are built. The concept needs a little work but I think that overall it's a very stylish car, that stays true to the Camaro legacy. I also don't think the body style will look dated quickly, unlike the Mustangs. The Camaro makes them look too Retro, and cheap in my opinon.

bring the link to the "Build the Concept" petition too. the more people that get on there the faster the Camaro will hit the streets.

Re: Well, it made front page of Yahoo!

Lutz said GM could make the new Camaro profitably if it could sell between 150,000 and 160,000 of the cars each year.
Thats the one part that worries me. Thats a LOT to sell. I hope there is more to that statement, like other models on the same chassis or perhaps at 150,000 there is a very good profit margin or something.

That is alot of cars to sell, but doable. Anyone know how many '05 stangs were sold last year?

Re: Well, it made front page of Yahoo!

Executives at GM, the world's largest automaker, cited fans' intense interest surrounding the seven-month development effort behind the 400-horsepower concept car as an indication of potential demand from buyers.
Is this suggesting that GM has only been working on the concept for the past seven months? I would think that they have been working on it much longer than that. Any ideas?
