Welcome to the 5th gen forum.....

Just as a counterbalance to the other threads, I wanted to welcome all the newbies to the 5th gen forum!

I think it's going to get busier around here very soon.

Just do yourselves a big favor, read alittle, search alittle, and think alittle, before you post.

WELCOME!

And remember that there are a lot of die-hards in here that know what is going on with just about everything in the automotive world.

Wow, thanks everybody, I feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside. Even though I have been lurking on this board for a few years now, I finally decided to register now.

Re: Welcome to the 5th gen forum.....

Everyone is expecting a big increase in traffic, but my question is, after the big unveiling, where do we go from there? I mean, granted the reveal is going to generate a lot of buzz, but what is the next big milestone in the development process that the enthusiast will need to wait for? I would guess that we'll have to wait for Scott to throw us another bone.

I dunno, I'm just worried that after they give us what we want, and show us the concept, what is the next signal that they're going to actually build it? It would be terrible for GM to waste all of the momentum that they're going to build.

An overt signal from GM might be as simple as them showing a "production-ready" car at a future show and/or making an announcement, but I wouldn't expect either of those things to happen until close to production start. Meanwhile, we wait for leaks from suppliers, news of plants being converted to build it, spy shots of mules being tested, tidbits from Scott and other insiders, etc., etc., etc.... the picture will emerge, it always does.

Oh man....you are new here!

We've been keeping this forum going for years on shreads of rumors and our opinions of them.

Fasten your seatbelt bub....we're going to have sooooo much to post about next week, it'll be crazy!!!
