This was my first trip to the U.P. since 1984. Of course I took the Camaro, and my parents took theirs as well.

How far up are you going to go? Long as you are up that far go all the way to Copper Harbor, take the scenic route and stop at the Gay Bar with your parents.
I lived outside Lake Linden for a few years, planning a trip back up there soon myself.

Already back in East Lansing. We stayed in Marquette, went into Negaunee to see the first apartments where I lived at, KI Sawyer airforce base, and down to Gwin to Bass Lake.

Got to see some old friends, and have a Cudhighi sandwich.

I did get up to my shins in Lake Superior and that was all I needed to cool off

That's awesome Tim! I loved visiting the U.P. a couple years ago. I only went as far as Munising and over to Painted Rocks though.
