Great to see the Z/28 brought back into the lineup. Was hoping they would bring out the 2014 ZL1 as well. . .

The 2014 ZL1 will have the same front facia, but will get the freshed taillights as well as the color dash. ZL1 will also have Recaro seats as an option now.

God, I need to start saving up!

I wonder how long before someone truied to put a ZL1 fascia on the MCE front end? A week after they start shipping maybe? I wonder if the hood would line up anymore?

That's interesting that they would leave the ZL1 to the current nose. I would imagine the 1LE would share the new Camaro SS nose.

What is this color dash you speak of?

I'm sorry, I should have been a little more descriptive. The HUD and DIC (Drivers information Center) will be in color now for 2014.

I am guessing here, but I think that heat extractor and the rest of the ZL1 hood is specific to the LSA engine. There probably wasn't an easy way to commonize it with the other powertrain options.

On C&D's website in the article about the revised SS they had this bit:

"Note, however, that the ZL1 will not receive the new 2014 front fascia, as adopting that piece for the blown Camaro’s ultra-high-speed mission would have required “serious engineering work,” we’re told."
