Question So, the latest Hot Rod Magazine says....

...the 5th Gen Convertible will weigh in at an estimated 3,750#.......so that means the coupe might weigh around 100#+ less?

Probably just a major guess on their part though....

Seems reasonable enough. I'm not gonna take their word for it just yet though.

LOL............... Hot Rod magazine can't get the specs and info right on cars that they have in front of their faces. I would have serious doubts about their guess on anything that won't be here for another 1.5-2 years.

I read once that Hot Rod's stories are written 3-6 months in advance of publication, so I'm guessing it was a blind stab.

Actually, they interviewed some GM people at the convertible unveiling in January...but why on earth is it labeled as the "May 2007" issue when I got it last week I don't know....I still think it was just an educated guess though.......

At least you got your copy. I received the May 2007 Car Craft on Saturday, but I'm still waiting for the May 2007 Hot Rod.
