Searched the forum for this . . . quesiton on Camaro concept
I'm going to the auto show next Wednesday as part of Automotive Education Day with my auto shop class, so I'll have time to look under it then, but this question has been killing me:
Does the new Camaro have an independent rear axle set up, like the GTO and Vette? Moving away from the f-body tradition of a solid rear axle?

Depending how it's displayed at the public show you might not be able to see much under the car. It'll most likely be on an elevated turn table so you can't get within at least 6 feet or more.

Unless they rope it off, you can get right up to it. We had cameras actually in the car yesterday, and you can get good shots of the rear suspension too (someone in our little group did, thought I had them, but I don't). Check Chris96WS6's site if you can't find them here.
