Saving General Motors TV Show w/ Camaro

Don't know if it's been posted yet ...

From:

http://www.azstarnet.com/accent/250911

"Here are two TV shows you may want to watch this week:
● "Saving General Motors"
6 and 10 p.m. Wednesday on CNBC."

....

"And viewers will go behind the scenes for the development of the all-new Chevrolet Camaro (due early next year), including a test drive with NASCAR giant Dale Earnhardt Jr."

The program profiles GM's "Quality Czar" Bob Lutz, whose mission is to reinvigorate GM's bland product line and improve the quality of its designs and manufacturing.
Bland? Bland compared to what?

What's bland is Hyundai's lineup. Kia's lineup. Toyota's lineup. Honda's lineup. Those lines are bland.

I REALLY hope that during older test shots such as the dale jr. clip that they emphasize that the car was far from complete.

I agree. Even some folks here feared that his comments on an complete car would be something that wouldn't be adjusted for final production. I suppose the visual of him driving a very rough test mule didn't convey the message.

Camaro part is coming on next

EDIT:
eh, if thats all that they are going to talk about it...it was kinda neat, but thats about it. wish they were able to touch on a production version a little more. Cool shot of a silver one that looked like it was at a GM accessory facility. Had black stripes

was that the SS with the stripes? I didn't get a good look at the grill where the emblems should be.

not sure, it could have been. though it also could have been made of cardboard and used for design ideas for all I know

You can't argue against it.. they were cheap as hell. It made me feel like I was in my Power Wheels again when I had my 4th gen.
