Cool Nothin but Smiles . . .

Been a busy couple of weeks. My wife spotted a Camaro @ the Dealership and promptly notified me that she got to sit in one before I did. No biggie as I paid a visit that nite and was very impressed. So impressed I ordered one the next day. I really wasn't much of a decision for me once I got to see the Dash and liked it . . . my biggest concern was the dash. I decided on VR since I did not have an opportunity to see IMO or its interior and I wasn't going to gamble.

The dealer said I would have 3 weeks to look around and change my colors but the guy before backed out and I got the call to lock without ever finding an IMO to look at so VR it was.

Well, Yesterday, I found an IMO 2SS exactly as I would have ordered it and just had to have it. I called my dealer to see if I could in any way change my order since It had only been accepted by GM on Tuesday and they said no but they had one more allocation that I could use thou . . . that would cost me about 8 weeks delay with the plant going to 1/2 shift in July. My wife was with me and she loved it also. During lunch, I joked that she could order it if sh sold one of her 6 Limited Edition VW New Beetles and she said OK instantly (Jason, I do remember your comment from a recent comment about VW and Prez Obamahood and wasn't laughing . . . well kinda maybe).

So, Long story short, I now have 2 Camaro's on order and and not selling either my Vette or my '84 Z28 H.O. as I had prviously considered. I just need to buy a few lifts now!

How dare you buy a new Camaro without giving due diligence to it's weight and size?.... J/K

I wish life were that easy. Good read and GOOD LUCK!

And some Camaro forums... apparently.

Personally, I love the fact that you just walked in a bought the car on the basis of the Camaro's real virtues.

God bless you and your wife!

You and me both, maybe 2013 for me though at the latest. I just hope they're around (as in GM and Camaro) then so I can finally be among the few, the proud....The 5th gen Camaro owners.

Post some pics of Victory Red and Inferno Orange Metallic next to each other in the same light. That's always a good comparison in the colors.

SO which one is yours? Congrats!

All Limited Edition but 1 and it is one of her favorite cars . . . since 2 years old! Was very sad when she had to leave one (down to 5) @ the dealer when picking up her SS! After 500 miles, all's good!!

6 of her favorite car...Sounds like you married the right woman! Enjoy those Camaros. Which color do you like better?

I love the IOM . . . especially in the sun!! I also like the VR w/Strips allot . . . Strips give it a more aggressive look. Glad I have both.
