Not so good looking 2010 Camaro.

This is just me...but i dont like the new mustang looks or better yet any mustang they dont attract me.....But a Camaro i will take one any day of any year model except the 2010 model cause it looks like a freaking mustang when looking from the side. If you compare a a 2008 mustang and the new camaro from a half block away sideview you couldnt tell the difference. I was hoping the guys at GM were able to come with some unique looks and not copy of the mustang....looks wise.
I'm dissapointed.

Sorry for your disappointment. The ability to recognize the difference between vehicles is a learned and usually a male oriented ability. Guess it goes back to our primal hunting instincts and figuring out that a raccoon makes a better meal than a skunk….

The two cars look nothing alike from any angle.

Wink No Way

The Camaro looks nothing like a Mustang. Gm designers actually had some skill and thought that makes the Camaro look like nothing else on the road. From the door back I can maybe see C6 corvette, but in no way do I see the boxy Mustang.

Camaro SS, 3/10...kickin *** at a stoplight in your neighborhood! Horsie, meet the glue factory!

Do you have a flame suit handy? Because it's about to get awfully hot in here.

umm what are you looking at buddy!? They look completley different. You can tell the diff. from any angle at any distance, and if you can't then you need to get your eyes checked.

The new mustang looks like a retro mustang, and the new camaro looks like a retro camaro.

No copying here.

The Stang looks like a plastic tinker-toy and the Camaro looks like sex.

Next.

I've heard this stupid comparison from either a)someone trying to aggravate me. Not because I hate Mustangs and like Camaros, actually I like both, or all three including the Challenger (although the Camaro is my favorite),

and b) from a friend or two of mine who are not really into cars. For example, they only see cars as mainly either 2 door or 4 door, and can barely tell one make from another.

Actually, the traits that the Camaro and Mustang DO share are probably what attracts me to them, well, that plus some of their own individual traits.

I think the argument that they share a similar profile only stands up in the 2-dimensional world. Their massing and bodylines would immediately distinguish the two cars. But I made this to supplement whatever side of the argument you think it helps. I don't think they look anything alike. No more than any other two-door car comparison would yield.
