Doesn't make sense !! Why would it be available on the LT, and not the SS ?? They are the same freaking cars with different options !!!!
Anyhow, Being a Canadian, I couldn't even order anything now..... I would have even gone to my friends down south, but again thanks to GM brass, the dealers down south have been told not to sell to us.... Man this bites !!!!

Only 86 '02 NMB SS verts sold. I owned one of them. It looked great when all cleaned and polished, but would only stay that way for about 5 minutes before a dust speck landed on it and stood out like it was lit up.
Blue is by far my favorite color for a car, but I'm (probably) not getting another one because it was just too much time and trouble to keep looking clean.
That said, I do think it should be an available option for those who want it. And who knows, if it's a pretty enough blue I may reconsider.

MAn , at least get Imperial Blue on there . This color is very well liked by alot of people and its a really cool shade of dark blue . Navy Blue metallic was a rather popular choice on the LS1 era F-bodies so eliminating it from the 5th gen would really be an oversite

I was planning on looking at the imperial blue once I had a chance to see it in person and in the sunlight. I had a plan to have white rally stripes painted on. I will probably go with red or black. I suspect that GM will add more colors to the SS line at some point. I know it seems that they should make all colors availible but remember that front fascia and many other body components are painted seperatly. Since the V6 is the main car that they are hoping to push it seems that keeping the production line maximized for that model will be part of the strategy.

I agree, this is a very poor decision that is unacceptable. With the (poor) color options originally announced, I went with black because there was no real blue available. I do not consider "aqua blue metallic" as blue. However, I would definitely go with Imperial Blue Metallic on my 2SS. This horrible decision needs to be undone. Scott, please lead the crusade on this one..

I can understand not using that color unless ordered that way, but to not even allow it on order? That's just stupid IMO.
Although I also think the lack of ANY sort of green color is also a huge oversight.

Thank goodness I can get a yellow 2SS/RS, because otherwise Imperial Blue would be my next choice, and White would be the choice after that.
If yellow weren't available right now, I wouldn't be ordering!

I'm dissappointed by the fact there is no blue. My first color choice is Blue/White rally stripes. My second choice is Black/Orange rally stripes. I'm hoping it's going to be available later, as I have to wait a while before I can buy, at least until HUD is available, but I may even wait for the 'vert, but we'll see. (I've had wet dreams about my blue vert with white stripes
