Idk know about you guys, but the White Camaro with a hood scoop, and Silver Stripes looks HAWTTTT.....
If this is true, I'm pretty "passes out with joy" as well. This fills the GT500 void (which every single mustang lovers has brought up one time or another).... Can you say Om Nom NOM.....

NEWS: REPORT: Supercharged Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 cometh? Again? For real?

To build or not to build... that is the question. The subject is the Camaro, in this case in the long-rumored Z/28 guise. We've heard over the last few months that the automaker would pass on the opportunity to drop a supercharger atop the Camaro's optional V8 powerplant due to fuel economy, emissions and price concerns. However, Inside Line is reporting that GM Veep Ed Welburn says the Z/28 program is back in full effect and is headed for production.
Underneath a new bulge in the hood will sit a version of the excellent 6.2-liter LS-A from the Cadillac CTS-V that should be good for about 550 horsepower and mated up to either an automatic or manual transmission with six forward ratios. If these newest rumblings are to be believed, the Z/28 will hit the market in about a year. All that's left, says Welburn, is to finalize the tuning of the powertrain and suspension bits. Sounds good to us - we'll take ours in classic Hugger Orange with white stripes, please.

According to Ed Welburn, GM's Vice President for global design, the on-again, off-again Z/28 is back in the plan. The modified body is done, according to Welburn. There is still calibration work to be done on the powertrain, though. We're still looking at about a year's wait before the Z/28 would appear.
Alongside this news, we hear that GM is considering doing a higher-performance version of the V6 Camaro, in hopes of piquing the interest of less traditional Camaro enthusiasts. --Dan Pund, Senior Editor, Detroit
Even i would consider a 360hp V6, i wonder how much the Z28 is going to run for.
Inside Line confirms that the Camaro Z28 is back in the product plan, set for production.

Great...put another couple of hundred pounds on an already overweight car that understeers........great.......
As long and hard as some of us have fought for the return of the Legend that is the Z/28....we get this monstrosity.....the total antithesis of what a Z/28 SHOULD be.......what a waste of resources........and my time.......just great....
