My order was entered in for production!
I called my dealer today and was told by my sales guy that he entered all the Camaro orders in for production! I am not sure if he was just blowing smoke up my rear or what. He said that they were accepted for production and usually within a few weeks after that production on the cars usually begins...obviously this is a different situation, since the Camaro is a brand new model. Does anybody, Jason/Scott, etc., have a production code status schedule like they have with the Corvette. I know that there are status code #'s at each step of the way, would be interested to see if my sales guy is actually telling the truth.

Which dealer? What did you order?
Seems a little early, but if he told you that, maybe it is. If it's anything other than 1100, it very well may be pulled. Checked my dealer yesterday with all the fiasco going on over the 2nd letter that's supposedly going out and he said all of his were still 1100 and none had been pulled yet.
GM is supposed to pull them, not the dealer. My sales manager told me that he receives a notification that they will be pulled and then he'll contact each customer to make sure they don't want to change any options. When the time comes, GM will pull the orders.
Good luck if this is true.

If this is true, then it's great news!! Here are the order status codes ( found online ):
1100 = Preliminary Order (Order passed GM edit tables but dealers has not received allocation to place order)
2000 = Accepted By GM (Dealer used allocation to place order into production)
2500 = Preferenced (Order pulled to the production system)
3000 = Accepted By Production Control (Order input into the production system)
3100 = Sequenced (Order sequenced for Production)
3300 = Scheduled For Production (Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle)
3400 = Broadcast (Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together)
3800 = Produced (Order is built and VIN# shows in the Dealer Order system now)
4150 = Invoiced (Order is invoiced to the dealer)
4200 = Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
5000 = Delivered To Dealer
6000 = Delivered To Customer a list for the event codes..

As of yesterday, I can confirm that I spoke with the new car Sales Manager at Paddock Chevrolet (2nd largest allocation in the country) and no orders have been pulled by GM. Take it for what it's worth but I would think Classic Chevy and/or Paddock will know right away when orders are starting to be pulled. Everyone chill out until we see someone's build code go into the 2000's.
