In my internet based opinion, I think you will find that this will not be worth it in the end, or other things will come up. a ZL1 is a mid life crysis cost car, not someone who is beginning a new life on their own.

Entirely up to you though, I can't imagine working construction two years then putting every dime I made into a car which will lose value quickly and will be very expensive to maintain.

Best way to get your name on the Podcast, is to call and leave a voicemail. Sometimes, I feel like Jason and Chris' guest host -- I call in so frequently. I hope my comments are appreciated.

I know a lot of folks listen, but so few of us call in!

Re: My Camaro ZL1 has arrived!!

Hey Chris, I should be picking my ZL1 up this week. It is currently sitting in the New Boston railyard. It is a clone to yours, except mine has an ECF hood insert. My original order was Ashen Grey but I found a black one that was just produced (VIN 744) and available from a Detroit area dealer. I should pick it up Thursday. We will have to catch up at a local cruise night soon. Regards, Andy

How is the feel of the electric steering compared to that of a conventional hydraulic steering setup?

Congrats Andy! We will definitely have to meet up!

Steering feels crisper in the ZL1 compared to the SS.

Re: My Camaro ZL1 has arrived!!

The best is all of it.

If you cannot do that, a lot of factors come into play.... How much of a monthly payment you can afford, the length of how long you want to finance it, what kind of credit you have, which helps to determine interest rate, etc., etc.

Re: My Camaro ZL1 has arrived!!

Does anyone know why the blue band of light that was on my 2010 2ss rs that was along the top edge of the plastic that starts on one door, continues across the dash and ends on the other door and came on when the head lights were on, is not on my ZL 1?

I thought that was in the original Camaro concept but didn't make production. I think you can get an aftermarket kit that did that, though.

The ambient lightning never went across the dash from the factory. It was planned, but wasn't implemented.

Re: My Camaro ZL1 has arrived!!

Congrats! It looks gorgeous! I can't wait to see mine... I have pre-ordered it a month ago but the dealership is having some problems on the border and I have to wait for so long, that's pretty obnoxious but the car is worth waiting!
