I had the first IROC-Z shipped into Lexington, KY. My tag was, of course, IROC-Z. My GTO, which I am the first owner of has "68 GTO" as its tag. My driver is an 02 C5 convertible with "SOFTOP" as the tag (same tag I had on my C4 beginning in 1994.)

I already reserved mine....thru the DMV.

I have BADD Z28 on my 95, BADD TA on my 99, and for the 2010 I have
BAD SSRS reserved

Triple BAD!

You should be able to reserve your plate for 90 days thru the DMV, and you can use another vehicle that you own to do this....

Well I have a real cool story on this. My girlfriend knew how much I wanted my SN that I use on other boards for my plate. Well I have been checking online for about 6 months and it's been available. I finally decided I was going to get the plates for my DD then transfer them over to the SS so nobody could get them first. My G/F was trying to convince my then pleading me not to do it. Turns out she ordered them 2 weeks ago and they should be in just in time for valentine's day as my present. I was absolutely amazed that she went through all the trouble to get them.

Anyways to answer the thread-Black SS/RS= DARK SS
