I've been saying that since the pics were leaked several weeks ago, and everybody ignored what I said.
Looks like they dusted off the 99 GTO concept and then updated it.

The GTO Concept was released in 1999. The public hated it. If the public embraced it, today the GTO may have look similiar to that. Instead we got a Holden rebadge.

It is a little too extreme for me. If they toned it down it would be nice. Maybe that's why I like the Camaro concept, it's basically a toned down version with Camaro ques. It would make a good starting point for a firebird though.
But not too likely.
So the big questions still remain... What chasis and when will it be released?

The more I think about the fact that we waited this long for a modified GTO concept and all the hype surrounding it, kind of makes me angry.
Can any photoshoppers slap one on top of the other and see how close they really are?

crap that is depressing that they had such an awesome concept, and then made it look like my old GTP when they produced it
