Indy Questions

#1) For those of you that were lucky enough to be at Indy, can you tell me how the inferno orange interior looked? Is it more of a bright red/orange leather or is it very orange? I can see the door panels are definitely orange but I was curious about the leather.

#2) Also, does the car have a true dual exhaust. I thought that it was supposed to, but the accessories pic shows a single inlet pipe to a dual exit muffler. Will you be able to order the shorty headers when you order the car or will they be a performance parts item you can order seperately?

#3) I noticed that red is now an interior panel option. Does that mean that there is red ambient lighting on the dash?, or just red panels?

the leather is orange. i dont know what you meen by red/orange or very orange , but its orange. im concidering getting it in my camaro.
i think it is supposed to have true duals and the exhaust might be for the v6. i know the v8 has duals though.

as far as the lighting im in the same boat with you. i really want the red lighting if available but i dont know. but if you read the accessories sign it says body colored LIGHTING. so i think that means you have the choice of these as an upgraded lighting color rather than the blue and orange. (lets hope)

From what I've red in the spec sheets, the only light combo's will be blue or orange (if you get the orange interior package). I also read that there would be five accent packages and six engine cover colors available but, who knows?

yeah but if you get the red or yellow interior colr i dont thin orange or blue accent lighting will look good at all. the way the display board showed it at indy was that it was called an interior accent lighting package. and it showed red yellow and another color other than the orange and blue.

I THINK that there is only 1 color interior. Graphite. If you get the dark graphite interior, then the seat surfaces match the rest of the interior. If you get the light gray, tan, or orange interior, the seat surfaces come in the color that you chose. But the dash, the sides of the seats, the console, the door panels, the carpeting....they're all the same color (graphite) no matter which interior you get.

Someone said on Camaro5 that they were told at the Indy'08 presentation that the red accent interior had been canceled.
I didn't hear this so I can't confirm whether it is true or not.
