I think its a great idea for a great car. To me the Firehawk doesn't mean F-body or coupe or anything 4th gen specific. I see it as an all out, limited numbers package only reserved for the best of the Pontiac lineup. Geez, there just seems to be more and more cars added to my "Choose 1" future car list.

Does anyone have an email address for a contact at SLP? I fully intend on getting my new Camaro, but I am curious if SLP will be selling their own versions. I called the number on the website but the person I spoke to didn't know of anything.

They are unable to comment about that specifically but here is a good question...Since the G8 and the new Camaro are very similar, why wouldn't they?

I thought about that. Theoretically, GM could hand the keys to SLP to do the new 'Z28' whenever they decide to release it.

I hope not, I hope they do the Z in house...as I'd hate for SLP to get their hands on rights the Z28 name, but it could be feasible.

I'm thinking a Z28 with the LS7 in it mated with a 6 spd and those afterburner tail lights I've seen. All done by GM in house.
