Helios gets his stripes........
Front Page News!
.......it took quite some time for me to decide WHICH stripes and what color stripes to put on Helios........
This is the 'Vertical Stripe Package" - available in Gray, Red, Orange, White or Black.....
Here's a pic taken (sorry for the quality) with my B/Berry - taken at Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI - earlier this afternoon..........
........and here's one with his top up....

what's up with the mud flaps???? I guess up north is needed... damn glad i am down south.
about the stripes.... I would have to see them in person... I think it looks good with the top down.... with the top up... don't know how i feel about them.

Quarter flares?????
We don't have them yet in white - and with all the slop on the roads here, it's almost a 'gotta-have' -
I didn't put them on Thor or Thor V 2.0 and I was constantly wiping off tar and it was extremely hard to keep them clean - -esp. with moisture on the pavement here and there (puddles)
The quarter flares kept him clean all afternoon.......(but I do agree that they're gonna need a-paintin' )
As an aside: I drove him up and down Lakeshore drive with the top down this afternoon - and the windshield does a great job of keeping the cold wind out of your face. (it's 34 degrees in the Motor City ....)

I must have just missed you Scott because I to was going down Lakeshore Drive this afternoon but in my daily driver. The Camaro looks great even though we are in the far north! I wanted you to go with orange stripe's, but the black turned out great!!!!

Love the stripes!! As for the quarter flares... I am happy to see the ZL1 got some corvette-esque moldings on the wheel wells. I was hoping by now it would be a more standard piece for even just the SS. The quarter flares look ok but what the Zl1 got (and Z06, and ZR1) looks better.
I spent a weekend molding some C6 ones to my 98 and have enjoyed the 90% decrease in crap flying off the rear tires

They will look much better painted body color. As an aside: my mom is dying to see the convertible in person.... and she is due for a new car soon.

Looks so good until the top goes up! Anyway, I am still on the fence about the stripes. Could we get a picture of the front of the car to see how the stripes taper off there? Thanks.

Looks fantastic. For the first time in the history of me I like a convertable better then a coupe version of a car. And thats saying somethign as the coupe has been growing on me like crazy!

I dont know......it looks pretty good top up. Better then the mustang or any other vert out there.
