Got lucky
I live in oshawa and always take a drive down to the car plant to see if i can see anything. Well today it paid off saw an ss camaro with strips and a vert car the vert was driving back in and sounded like a v6 car. I can not wait till next year.

Upon closer examination...
The front clip has the SS mail slot, but none of the rest of the SS characteristics like larger lower air dam, bigger lower opening, "hips" above the fog lights, etc. The brake rotors appear large enough, but the calipers look rather "off the shelf GM".
Don't get excited either way, doesn't mean anything. Could be something the plant threw togther as a test of something. However, with this car being where it is, it is the indication of the beginning. I really think it is amazing how far we've come, to those who it matters to.
I should make a blog entry about that...
BTW...you guys who like the stripes, you will be able to get them if you want.

Even the black "SS" seen at the Ring with the Brembo's had the V6 nose and mail slot. Doesn't seem to be a cooling issue for the larger front air dam.

I"m betting on a GM accessories car for throwing ideas around, or testing fitment in "real world" situations. dont need those bumpers flying off on the highway
