? about the Chevy site

Has anybody noticed the diff in the auto trans prices b/n the 1ss and 2ss? the 1ss is $995 and the 2ss is $1185.? Also, check out the option lists, stripes from fac are $510 but down blow for the dealer install options its I think $360. Those are just some examples I saw, there are more. Sorry if this has been talked about already.

Nothing to do with the transmission exactly....the difference is that the 2SS and 2LT come with the remote start option (which is only available on the auto) and therefore an extra cost. If you were to add it as a stand alone option to the 1LT / 1SS with the automatic, it would be around $200 more...I believe it's part of a convenience package. It only shows up with the automatic selected since it's not available on the manual.
